My minimalist meal planning that is simply delicious & quick. I have tried it all.
I have lived on three different continents, and this simple meal planning works every time. You can take it on holiday with you too. I do;). And if you have been reading my blog for any length of time you will no that I choose to live uncluttered and uncharted.
Minimalist meal planning that is simply delicious & quick is what I aim for whether at home or traveling. It works;)
minimalist meal planning recipes
If you are anything like me, then you love to try new recipes. I just can’t help it – I like our family favourites and the staple meals, but not all of the time.
Simple meals are the best and when they are a healthy meal option, then we keep that recipe. We have a default meal that we often fall back on but how do we make sure we have the ingredients on hand?
My minimalist meal planning looks like this:
- MONDAY is minced meat/ground beef
- TUESDAY meatless
- WEDNESDAY is chicken
- THURSDAY is left overs
- FRIDAY pork
- SATURDAY is free
- SUNDAY are eggs
This gives the entire week a frame. Every single week can look different and yet, the same. This has helped me with decision fatigue. The minimalist meal planning that is simply delicious & quick can be done in under 5 minutes because I use the MEALIME app.
simply delicious & quick favourite app
This minimalist meal planning app has saved me a lot of time. I love whole foods and this fits in with my minimalist lifestyle. I have even stopped buying new recipe books. Give it a try.
One of the features of the MEALIME APP is that it generates a grocery list and so grocery shopping is now a breeze. I really do not like food waste and I am not creative when left to my own devices.
I need good recipes and a place where I can add in my recipes. This you can do in the MEALIME APP.
Now when I go to the grocery store, it is quick and easy and I know that I have everything that I need to cook with. No extra trips to the grocery store necessary.
I do not have to worry about or deal with any food waste. This is what I love. I can also make healthy food choices because of the various options within the app.
Options are – food waste, type of menu and filter the recipes according to carbs, fats or calories … super helpful when you are needing the specifics.
You can also tailor your food choices to suit your needs.
Options are – allergies and restrictions and ingredients you dislike.
simply delicious, quick ´n easy a week at a time
Every single week I can start from scratch or I can reuse a weeks meal plan that is stored. This is a great feature too. I go back on a regular basis to go back to favourites and this save me so much time.
The reminder to plan your meals is a preset that you can log in and this makes it super simple. I have the same day of the week when this reminder pops up and the first thing I do is to go for the favourites.
This has helped me in so many ways but the best thing is that I shop on a single day, all is done and then I do not have to go back to the shops again. This really does save time and money. That for me is a winning strategy.
Busy moms will love this app because it has great recipes and offers different ways of getting food to the table. The recipes include all the food groups but you can adapt and change this to suit your dietary needs.
Because many of the recipes are also so fast to prepare, the need to dash out for some fast food is elliminated.
pantry items for minimalist meal planning: simply delicious & quick
Keeping things simple in the kitchen requires some winning products. For us that is being able to make our own peanut butter quick, easily and cheaply. In some countries this is easy to do but in others, not.
I always make my own by simple blending up a tin or two of whole roasted peanuts. It’s a winner every single time. And the best is that it is simply delicious and it does not need extra sugar in it. I add peanut butter to my most favourite smoothie which is not a green smoothie, but a delicious blueberry smoothie.
These simple steps mean that I can always have peanut butter on hand. Our family loves using this peanut butter on a piece of toast, with a banana or apple as a snack or sometimes just to eat it from the jar!
Having a section in the app which includes pantry items has saved me many a time.
healthy minimalist diet
By using the Mealime app I am able to consistently and easily make meals with single-ingredient foods and food preparation is easy as well.
The app also has a section for all the appliances you need and all the ingredients you need. The simple idea is that you grab all these things before you start cooking. By doing this you will save time because you have everything on hand. That is minimalist meal planning: simply delicious & quick at it’s best.
The list of recipes that we love are kept in the favourites section and food items that we love are included. I slowly add to this but they have to be very special to be added.
How do you meal plan? What works for you? Drop me a line in the comments;). Now I love to cook. I am not a natural cook and this app has helped me up my game.
Minimalist meal planning: simply delicious & quick is doable and keeps living uncluttered. That’s why I love it so much. Why not give it a try?
