eating for life family meal planner

15/11/2021 by Bridget

I am so passionate about this eating for life family meal planner is that it has worked for me.

It has worked for the past 12 years.

I started this journey as I stepped into my middle age, my fabulous forties, and my fifties, and I experienced success. This is very often a difficult time of life for anyone with the changes going on. It works because it is simple and effective.

Keys to its success have been: that no matter whether I am training for a race, traveling, or visiting a friend, it can be used and referred to. It also gives me the security to know that all the food groups are included. And that I am giving myself the best nutrition possible. I do not stress about the sourcing of the food. It is beyond my reach because sometimes I travel and I get the best that is available. Let me tell you how it works.

the attack – eating to lose weight – step 1

There are 5 steps to this meal planner. The first step is what I like to call – THE ATTACK! The reason for this is that it is like a reset for anyone wanting to start there. It is the place where you go if you are wanting to shed a couple of kilos. The food plan options are pretty basic and simple. I go back to this step when I’ve gained some weight and I want to shed it fast. The comfort is that this is temporary, it helps me get back to basics and find my footing again. I do not go here when I am training for a race.

This is where we cut right back on carbs and fat.  That means nothing with sugar, or any visible fat, and whatever carbs are around are in the fruit and vegetables.  This stage gives you the ability to really taste food without the sauces and frills.  Real food, real taste.

the hello friends – family meal planner – step 2

The second step is where fats are added back in. I have named this step – HELLO FRIENDS! We get to welcome back some foods that we have missed.  Here, the journey back to sustainability and normalcy begins.  This helps build towards what we need in a way of eating for life. This step is where I often go back to reset if I’ve picked up some bad habits and am not feeling too well. I have to eat well and I have to stay fit to feel on top of my game. This frame gives me the security to know that I am doing the best that I can. I don’t want to fuss about food. I don’t want you to fuss about food. Food has become a complex subject and I don’t think that it should be so complex.

the back again – eating for life planner – step 3

In step 3, – BACK AGAIN! This is where adding in the non-gluten starchy food happens.  At every step of this successful eating for life family meal planner, you get the feeling that you are moving forward. I have found that I am healthier and that my energy levels have stabilized. I gained back my health by following this plan. Learning to enjoy the simplicity of whole real food choices has been a bonus for me. Learning about food and food choices in different countries is what fascinates me. I will share many recipes from the countries that I travel to. Hang around and join in the fun.

the party time – eating for life – step 4

In step 4, – PARTY TIME! Treats and celebration foods are included in the eating for life family meal planner here.  Life and parties happen, and so they should.  It is here that you learn how to navigate the sweet treats. The guidelines here are simple and where I’ll add delicious treats for any and every party. We love to celebrate with family and friends. Did anyone say birthday, or was it Christmas? No matter what the celebration is, favorite, delicious, and winning recipes will be added regularly. This makes me super happy because this is where I have fallen down with any other food diet plan.

Dealing with how to adapt this plan and how to stay on it will be discussed in full. Mistakes do and will happen. That is why this is so important to me.

Please do find out from a health professional if this is for you before you continue.

I struggled for 14 years trying to eat healthily but what I did not know was that my thyroid was severely under-functioning. No matter what food plan I used or tried, nothing ever worked. Please have yourself checked out today. Please do not wait for 14 years.

the let’s live – meal planner – step 5

And finally, in step 5, – LET‘S LIVE! All in, all food groups are present in the everyday food plan here. Learning how to gauge portions and how to live and maintain success.  The starchy foods with gluten are added right back in here. This can very successfully be adapted to anyone with a gluten allergy or sensitivity. Right up to this point it is important to take note of and learn about portions.  In the beginning, it can be a real pain, but that does not last for long. You become so familiar that sooner than you know it you will be able to eyeball portions and you’ll be able to eat, enjoy and celebrate with any food of your choice.

This is a fantastic invitation to a great food fun plan. I am still learning and developing. Sometimes I make bad decisions. The truth is that I no longer desire sugar-spiking foods anymore. I enjoy them at a celebration and move on. This has been a surprising development for me. I think your journey to healthy food choices will both surprise you and be absolutely delicious.

Sounds basic, right! I have found a way to make breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner work on an everyday basis. If you stick around, these recipes and meal plans will be shared.

Step into the right direction today.
